WARRENVILLE – A 22-year-old man from Warrenville was charged with trespass causing damage after strangers reportedly found him passed out at about 7 a.m. Nov. 2 in their Iowa City apartment, according to an Iowa City Police Department report.

The residents notified police after allegedly discovering Justin DeBoer, of the 2S700 block of Grove Lane, in one of their beds, the report said.

In the report, police said DeBoer was slow to wake and "obviously intoxicated."

When DeBoer woke up, he said he thought he was at "Bill's at 408," according to the report.

The couch in the apartment allegedly was "soaking wet with an unknown liquid," the report said. The residents estimated the damage to be $400.
