LEMONT – The cement mixer truck driver involved in a rollover on Oct. 29 at Derby and Archer roads has been cited for multiple offenses, including reckless driving, according to a spokesperson from the Cook County Sheriff's Office.

A preliminary report determined the truck turned eastbound on Derby Road in a reckless manner at an unsafe speed, crossed the double yellow line into oncoming traffic lanes and struck two vehicles stopped at a red light, the spokesperson said.

The truck driver was taken to a local hospital and released, while the vehicle drivers were not transported for medical treatment, according to the spokesperson.
