LA GRANGE

Sex offender notified he can’t stay at residence

Police notified James M. Goss, 50, of the 200 block of Waiola Avenue, that he could not remain at his residence because it is within 500 feet of a school and Goss has a prior conviction as a sex offender. Goss was notified at 6:12 p.m. Oct. 22.

Retail theft

Patrick M. Dunn, 22, of the 100 block of North President Street, Wheaton, was charged with retail theft after stealing a camera and HDMI cable from Radio Shack, 535 S. La Grange Road, at 2:35 p.m. Oct. 30.

Driving without license

Mary S. Reyes, 23, of the 2800 block of North Moody Avenue, Chicago, was charged with driving without a license after a traffic stop at Calendar and Washington avenues at 4:48 p.m. Oct. 26.

Theft of lost property

John J. Ryan, 60, of the 5500 block of West Higgins Road, Chicago, was charged with theft of lost or mislaid property at 3:13 p.m. Oct. 25 at La Grange Public Library.

Vehicle egged

A vehicle parked in the 1000 block of Seventh Avenue was egged between 10 p.m. Oct. 23 and 8 a.m. Oct. 24.

LA GRANGE PARK

Driving without license

Delondo D. Gulley, 20, of the 1200 block of North Mason Avenue, Chicago, was charged with driving without a license and without insurance, driving with an expired registration and driving with one headlight at 8:55 p.m. Oct. 24 at La Grange Road and Jackson Avenue.

Warrant arrest

Francisco Morales, 30, of the 3500 block of West 61st Street, Chicago, was arrested at 12:50 a.m. Oct. 25 in the 300 block of Dover Avenue on a warrant out of Kane County for failure to appear for a hearing for driving with a revoked license.WESTERN SPRINGS

Domestic battery

Helen Borotinski, 61, of the 600 block of 51st Street, was charged with domestic battery at 3:25 p.m. Oct. 26 in the 600 block of 51st Street.

Burglary to garage

A portable generator valued at $800 was stolen from a garage that was broken into between midnight and 8 a.m. Oct. 27 in the 4700 block of Fair Elms Avenue.

Residential burglary

• Two laptops and $1,000 in cash were stolen from a residence in the 4200 block of Western Avenue that was broken into between 3 and 8 p.m. Oct. 23.

• A residence in the 4100 block of Howard Avenue was broken into between 3 and 8 p.m. Oct. 23. Nothing was reported missing.

WESTCHESTER

Aggravated battery to police, domestic battery

Jacob Watts, 28, of the 1800 block of Manchester Avenue, was charged with two counts of aggravated battery to a police officer after striking two officers while being arrested for domestic battery at 3:53 a.m. Oct. 22 in the 1800 block of Manchester Avenue.

DUI

Julie Garcia, 19, of the 100 block of Dover Lane, Aurora, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without insurance at 2:36 a.m. Oct. 25 at Cermak Road and Enterprise Drive after parking behind a police officer who was conducting a traffic stop and asking to file a police report.

Purse stolen

An employee at a gas station in the 800 block of Mannheim Road said that at 10:45 a.m. Oct. 23, a woman entered the employee office and removed a purse containing cash and jewelry.

Criminal damage

to property

The glass pane of a bus stop in the 10400 block of Dickens Street was shattered by an unknown object, a police officer observed at 7:59 a.m. Oct. 24.

COUNTRYSIDE

Driving without license

Jose Contreras, 49, of the 6100 block of Knollwood Road, Willowbrook, was charged with driving without a valid drivers license after a traffic stop Oct. 29 at 55th Street and Plainfield Road.
