Westmont's railroad construction completed and cleared Oct .25

WESTMONT –Traffic lanes are now opened on Cass Avenue after the construction at The Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) railroad crossing in Westmont.

Westmont Communication Director Larry McIntyre said the construction was completed and cleared Oct. 25.

Construction began Oct. 17, giving motorists a detour, set up at Fairview Avenue in Downers Grove, although pedestrians can still cross the tracks in downtown Westmont adjacent to the Westmont Train Station.
