The West Suburban Cook County Affordable Care Act Coverage Network will host a series of informational sessions Saturday in Summit to educate residents about the new public health insurance options.

The event, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Summit Public Library, is part of a statewide Cover Your Community day of action and will educate residents of Lyons and Proviso Township about the options available through Get Covered Illinois, the new official public health marketplace.

Sessions will be offered in English and Spanish. Trained counselors, called navigators, will be available to assist and answer questions. Following the event, residents can connect with a navigator in Lyons and Proviso Townships by calling 708-818-0150.
