Published: Monday, Nov. 4, 2013 2:55 p.m. CST

DOWNERS GROVE – One of the most bio-diverse countries in the world, Costa Rica, will be highlighted at the November 15 “Adventures in Travel” travel program hosted by the Downers Grove Friends of the Library.

The presentation, titled “La Pura Vida – Costa Rica” will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the meeting room at the Downers Grove Library, 1050 Curtiss Street.

Refreshments will be served. Admission is free and no reservation is required.

The travel program will be presented by FOL Board Member Mary Lou Rauh. Her program will highlight one of Latin America’s most dynamic countries, one that offers an incredible array of wildlife and plant life among spectacular coastal and interior scenery.

This is the last “Adventures in Travel” program in 2013. The “Adventures in Travel” programs will not be held in the first half of 2014 due to library’s renovation project. It is hoped the “Adventures in Travel” series will commence in fall, 2014.
