Published: Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013 12:59 p.m. CDT • Updated: Tuesday, July 29, 2014 9:58 p.m. CDT

Dist. 201 parents are reminded there will not be any classes held on Thursday, Nov. 7, because of Parent-Teacher conferences.

The conferences provide parents with the opportunity to meet with their child’s teachers to talk about their academic progress during the first quarter of the school year.

Each campus will be holding a variety of activities.

The district will also be holding special meetings at all four of the campuses throughout the day to help parents better understand the new grading system and report cards.

The meetings will be held at Morton East from 2 to 7 p.m.; Morton West and the Freshman Center at 2, 4 and 6 p.m.; and the Alternative School at 5 p.m.
