Indian Boundary YMCA to honor community and corporate partners at annual gala

DOWNERS GROVE – The Indian Boundary YMCA will recognize its 2013 community and corporate partners, The Cronk Family Foundation and the Lemon Tree Grocer and Zest Bistro at its upcoming annual gala event Celebrate Why? on Saturday.

Celebrate Why? is the Indian Boundary YMCA’s premier fundraising event. This year’s event will be held at Bobak’s Signature Events & Conference Center in Woodridge and features a live band, dinner, dancing and live and silent auctions. All proceeds go towards the Y’s Annual Fund, which supports financial assistance for children, families and seniors accessing programs and memberships to the YMCA.

During the evening program, Indian Boundary Executive Director Barbara Taylor will recognize both The Cronk Family Foundation and the Lemon Tree Grocer and Zest Bistro for their extraordinary support of the YMCA.

In addition to its financial support from the Cronk Family Foundation, the Cronks will be honored for their deep commitment to the Y mission and volunteerism. Estella has served on the Indian Boundary Board for nearly a decade and volunteers at several Y events, including the YMCA auction, fashion show and weekly Downtown Downers Grove Market.

The Indian Boundary Y will also honor its longtime corporate partner, The Lemon Tree Grocer and Zest Bistro, for their history of support and commitment.

In 2012, the Indian Boundary YMCA awarded $819,049 in community support allowing youth, families, seniors and adults to participate in YMCA membership and programs. To buy tickets, visit, https://donate.ymcachicago.org/indianboundary
