Hinsdale police investigate two residential burglaries

HINSDALE – The Hinsdale Police Department has investigated two incidents of residential burglary that occurred at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday, according to a news release from the police department.

The burglaries occurred at residential homes located in the 700 block of North Jefferson Street and in the 700 block of North Oak Street while the residents were away, according to the release.

Forced entry was made to both homes, and it is believed to have occurred between 12:30 and 9:30 p.m.

Items taken include an iPad, jewelry and cash from bedrooms within the homes.
