District 99 board approves $147,000 in exterior work for Transition building

DOWNERS GROVE – The District 99 School Board approved bids Monday for about $147,000 in paving and other work outside of the district's Transition House, which serves special needs students after they graduate.

The facility is currently undergoing a $758,000 interior renovation.

The work approved Monday includes an asphalt parking area, a drop-off area, new fencing, curbing and sidewalks, according to board documents. The work will also decontaminate soil on the property.
