Charity basketball game to benefit cancer research

GLENDALE HEIGHTS – The Glendale Heights Police Department will face off against the Glenside Fire Protection District in the Don Darby Charity Basketball Game at 12 p.m. Nov. 2 at The Sports Hub, 250 Civic Center Plaza, Glendale Heights, according to a department news release.

The game will benefit the Darby family and cancer research, the release said.

Raffle tickets must be purchased in order to attend, according to the release. Tickets are available at the police department, the fire protection district or at the event. The cost is three tickets for $5, six tickets for $10 or 15 tickets for $20. The grand prize is $500.
