Wheaton restaurants to compete in fifth annual Chili Cook Off

WHEATON – Restaurants in downtown Wheaton will once again put their chili recipes to the test during the city's fifth annual Chili Cook Off on Nov. 2, according to a news release from the Downtown Wheaton Association.

Twelve local eateries will present their chili recipes for public tasting in an effort to earn the illustrious honor of serving the best chili in town.

Tickets are $15 per person and $7 for children ages 10 and under at the Downtown Wheaton Association, 108 E. Wesley St., or at competing restaurants.

Ticketholders can travel from restaurant to restaurant, sample chili, vote for their favorite and see the winner crowned.
