HANOVER PARK – Physicians Immediate Care recently opened its second urgent care clinic in DuPage County in Hanover Park at 7425 Barrington Road, according to a news release from the health care provider.

“We’re excited to come to Hanover Park,” said Stan Blaylock, CEO of Physicians Immediate Care, in the release.

The clinic offers treatment for injuries and illnesses that are not life threatening and performs minor surgical procedures.

It is equipped with an x-ray, lab testing and six exam rooms, including a pediatric room and a trauma room, the release said.

“When someone in Hanover Park can’t get into their doctor and it isn’t severe enough for the ER, we’re here to help,” said Dr. Alithea Dacanay, an on-site physician with the clinic, in the release.

The 3,000-square-foot facility is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends, according to the release.

Physicians Immediate Care is the largest urgent care provider in illinois.
