Batteries charged

• Roshone Smith, 47, of the 100 block of North Lancaster Drive, Bolingbrook, was charged with battery at 4:01 p.m. Oct. 3 in the 300 block of South Swift Road.

• Robert N. Showalter, 26, of the 1800 block of South Lawndale Avenue, Chicago, was charged with domestic battery and driving while license suspended at 11:48 p.m. Sept. 22 in the 900 block of College Boulevard.

• Ozzie Davis, 38, of the 600 block of Meadows Boulevard was charged with domestic battery and interference with reporting domestic violence at 2:35 p.m. Oct 20 in his home.

DUI charged

Sotero Sanchez-Duarte, 35, of the 700 block of Gates Street, West Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, not having a valid driver's license and disobeying a traffic control device at 3:10 p.m. Oct. 13 at Lake Street and Rohlwing Road.

Underage drinking charged

Jackie Longoria, 18, of the 700 block of North Swift Road, and Jose R. Quinoes, 18 of the 10500 block of Nevada Avenue, were charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor at 4:22 a.m. Oct. 15 in the 700 block of North Swift Road. Quinoes was also charged with theft of services after they took a taxi from Chicago to Addison without fare money.

Burglary charged

William N. Taylor, 18, of the 500 block of North Mill Road was charged with burglary at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 12 in the 600 block of West Lake Street after breaking into a gas station and stealing nine pipes, three cartons of cigarettes, five Swisher Sweets cigars and 18 packs of Newport cigarettes.
