Westmont to host 'A Friendly Tale' walk for the community Friday

WESTMONT – Westmont residents are invited to a fall walk with the park district Friday evening.

A Friendly Scarecrow Tale, for children ages 2 to 9, will include the story "The Little Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid." After the reading, the park district will have a fire with s'mores and fall refreshments.

The fall event will be from 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. at Twin Lakes Woods on 55th Street between Williams and Park streets. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are $4 for residents and $6 for nonresidents.
