LOMBARD – The Trademark Tavern & Tap, located at 777 East Butterfield Road in Lombard, closed as of Oct. 7, according to a notice on the front entrance.

Trademark was the culmination of a collaboration between Matt Lewandowski and his godfather, George Cibula, according to the restaurant's website. The restaurant had featured a lounge with HD televisions, 60 beers for selection and lunch and dinner menus.

Trademark was also one of the first stops for state Sen. Kirk Dillard, R-Hinsdale, after he made his announcement to run for Illinois governor in July.
