GLEN ELLYN – The annual Glen Ellyn Kids' Parade to celebrate Halloween will be held Oct. 26 in downtown Glen Ellyn.

Costumed members of the Glenbard West High School Drum Line will lead the parade, starting at Prairie Path Park, which is located south of the train station between Park Boulevard and Forest Avenue.

Children should arrive no later than 9:45 a.m. to line up for the parade. No registration is required.

Strollers, small wagons and wheelchairs are the only vehicles allowed in the parade. Dogs may not take part.

Following the parade, trick-or-treating at participating downtown businesses will continue until 1 p.m.

Orange pumpkin signs that say "Trick or Treat Here" will indicate merchants involved in the festivities.
