Berwyn, Riverside police working together on burglary cases

RIVERSIDE – The Riverside Police Department reported that they are working in conjunction with the Berwyn Police Department on a series of burglaries over the past week that target cash and jewelry in resident's homes.

Riverside police said that on Wednesday, a home in the 400 block of Kent Road was burglarized. According to police, the home was occupied all day until between 3:15 to 4:20 p.m. when someone gained entry to the house through a basement stairwell where a steel door was pried open.

Taken in the burglary was cash and jewelry. Police said they have no description of any offender/s.
