Historical Society to lead fall color tours on Sunday

LEMONT – Members of the Lemont Area Historical Society will serve as tour guides on fall color walks through the Heritage Quarries recreational area starting at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20.

Tours will begin at the gazebo along the I&M Canal, east of the parking lot off Main Street and opposite of Turnabout Pizza.

Tours are three miles and last 60 to 70 minutes. The cost is $5 per person, and no children are allowed without guardians.
