Cicero man, 18, shot in back after leaving party

CICERO – An 18-year-old Cicero man was shot in the back after exiting a party in the 1500 block of South 50th Avenue at 12:15 a.m. Oct. 13.

The victim, who lives on the same block were the shooting occured, said he had just exited a residence when a male Hispanic walked out of an alley and fired three or four shots in his direction, one of which struck him in the back.

The victim was taken to MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn where he was listed in guarded condition at the time he was admitted.

The victim, who was known by police, said he was no longer associated with his old gang, and could not identify the person who shot him.
