ELMHURST – The Elmhurst City Council's pick for the Hahn Street redevelopment is down to two applicants.

Banner Apartments, LLC withdrew its proposal for the redevelopment project Tuesday. Banner was one of three finalists chosen by the City Council to move into the final round of the selection process for a multi-use building that would include parking, retail and luxury apartments.

The remaining finalists, Lincoln Property Co. and Morningside Group will present their final plans to the council at 7 p.m. Nov. 12 at City Hall.

The City encourages residents to attend and listen to the applicant development proposal presentations, but they will also be video recorded and available for viewing on the Elmhurst YouTube channel within 48 hours.
