WHEATON – Three DuPage County nonprofits and several other organizations have come together to create a series of financial workshops for residents, according to a news release from the program

The DuPage Homeownership Center, DuPage Habitat for Humanity, Bridge Communities, DuPage County Community Services, DuPage Community Foundation, Wheaton Bank & Trust and the Illinois Department of Commerce are collaborating to provide resources for residents to learn more about financial literacy and management.

Debra Olson, executive director of the DuPage Homeownership Center, said in a statement that the agencies joined forces to provide a more comprehensive support program for their clients.

Participating agencies may require clients to attend the workshops to receive benefits of other programs within the agency, the release said.

For more information, call Olson at 630-260-2500 ext. 2502.
