Woodridge to flush fire hydrants north of 75th Street

WOODRIDGE – For the next three weeks, the Woodridge Public Works Department will be flushing all fire hydrants north of 75th Street.

Flushing the hydrants improves the quality of water for residents, according to village officials. While the hydrants are being worked on, some residents may experience discolored water, according to the village. If that occurs, residents should run cold water until it clears.

Work is expected to be completed by Nov. 1.

For more information or questions, contact the Public Works Department at 630-719-4753.
