CAROL STREAM – Parents of students with developmental disabilities are invited to hear Kathy Carmody, chief of staff for Ray Graham Association, speak at an Oct. 22 event, according to a news release from Glenbard Township High School District 87.

Carmody will discuss the importance of completing the Prioritization for Urgency of Need for Services (PUNS), a statewide database of information about individuals with developmental disabilities, the release said.

PUNS is used to select individuals for services, develop programs for budgeting and planning for future needs, according to the release.

Carmody will also address the possibility of implementing day programming in northern DuPage County, the release said.

The event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. in the library at Glenbard North High School, 990 N. Kuhn Road, in Carol Stream.
