Lemont church to hold blood drive Saturday

LEMONT – St. Patrick Church, 200 Illinois St., Lemont, will host a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19.

Blood donors must be at least 17 years old, or 16 with written parental permission; weigh at least 110 pounds; be symptom free of cold, flu and allergies and be in general good health, according to a news release from Heartland Blood Centers.

Donors who have traveled outside the U.S. within the past 12 months should contact Heartland at 1-800-786-4483 or visit heartlandbc.org to determine eligibility.
