CHCO2 wins award for engagement, education

CLARENDON HILLS – CHCO2 Footprint Project was honored for the Clarendon Hills Footprint Project on Thursday with the 2013 Design Award for Community Engagement and Education by the American Institute of Architects Northeast Illinois Chapter.

The Footprint Project took place during the summer when a footprint shape was laid at the property at the southwest corner of Prospect and Burlington to raise environmental awareness.

CHCO2 Footprint Project, the organization that managed the project, provided information on a specific environmental topic each week throughout the summer.
