Carol Stream Park District to offer beekeeping class

CAROL STREAM – The Carol Stream Park District will offer a class on natural beekeeping starting Oct. 16, according to a news release from the district.

The class will explore fundamental beekeeping skills and equipment, beehive assembly, maintenance and honey extraction, the release said.

The six-week class will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays at the Fountain View Recreation Center. The cost to participate is $50. Participants must be age 16 or older.
