HINSDALE – Adventist Hinsdale Hospital’s 25th annual Still Missed memorial service will take place at 7 p.m. Oct. 30 at Hinsdale United Methodist Church, 945 S. Garfield Ave.

Organized by the hospital’s Still Missed support program, the event commemorates the lives of babies who died through miscarriage, stillbirth or shortly after birth.

About 200 community members are expected to attend, according to a news release from Adventist Hinsdale.

The event – which takes place during National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month – will include special music and banners featuring the names of babies who died before their time. All participants will receive a silver heart memento. A children’s activity also is planned.

The theme for this year’s event is “Love.” Families who have been with Still Missed throughout its 25 years will be invited to share their stories. There will be a reflection on the founding of the organization.
