Bolingbrook bests Homewood-Floosmoor in key conference clash

FLOSSMOOR – Jaden Huff's 2-yard touchdown run lifted Bolingbrook to a 31-24 win over host Homewood-Flossmoor in a key SouthWest Suburban Blue game Friday night.

The Raiders (7-0 overall, 5-0 SWSB) trailed 21-10 and 24-16 but responded to both deficits. CJ Clark scooped up a fumble and went the other way for a touchdown, and Quincy Woods midway through the fourth quarter. When Dariel Greer hit Huff for the 2-point conversion the score was knotted at 24-24, and it remained that way until the end of regulation.

Bolingbrook saddled H-F (6-1, 4-1) with its first loss, but the Raiders have little time to celebrate as they welcome Lincoln-Way East for the final home game of the season next Friday night.
