Team Elmhurst Soccer Club U9 team finishes strong at tournament

ELMHURST – Boys teams in the Team Elmhurst Soccer Club program have had solid showings so far this fall.

The U9 Premier White boys team finished 1-1-1 in the Glen Ellyn Lakers Fall Classic October 5 and 6. The team won its final game of the tournament 4-3 over Lyons Township Soccer Club. Oliver Roy, Jack Marek and Adam Hardek scored the goals in the game.

The U9 Premier White team is coached by Ben Huyck. Team members include: Luke Brown, Will Casey, Cole Dochoff, Sam Gutterman, Lucas Hamelberg, Adam Hardek, Kevin Kelley, Jack Marek, Seamus Reilly, Collin Rice, Oliver Roy and Cooper Thomes.

Earlier in the fall, the U11 Select squad competed in the Great Lakes Soccer Challenge at the Naperville Polo Grounds and went 3-0 in pool play by outscoring its opponents 13-3 in the three games to move on to the championship game. Naperville Soccer Association won the title game, but TESC finished second among 24 teams.
