Staats: Chicago History Author Series unfolds at Lisle Museum
The fourth annual Chicago History Author Series explores the City of Chicago from nine different perspectives during this unique annual park district program.
Enjoy an introductory crash course on the history of Chicago and dive deeper into the annals of cultural history at each week’s program. Join us to learn about the early days of organized crime, Hollywood movie ties, the history of urban and park planning, and ending with a discussion of public art in Chicago. New this year is a screening of a WTTW documentary and Q&A.
The author-led discussions will begin at 4 p.m. Saturday through Nov. 16 in the Baggage Room of the Lisle Depot, located on the grounds of Lisle Station Park, 921 School St.
