WHEATON – The annual Wheaton Police Department online auction will begin Nov. 1, according to a news release from the department.

Each year, the department sends surplus, found, unclaimed and forfeited property and evidence to an online auction house called propertyroom.com for disposal, the release said. The website will accept Paypal, Master Card, Visa and American Express.

Starting in November, those interested in bidding can register for free on the website and can visit www.propertyroom.com/d/662 to find items submitted by the city of Wheaton, the release said. For more information, visit www.propertyroom.com/help/faq
