WESTMONT – The People's Resource Center and the DuPage County Historical Museum are joining together to host an Oktoberfest-themed golf outing.

On Par for DuPage Bringing Together Hope and History will be at 10 a.m. Oct. 22 at the Arrowhead Golf Club, 26W151 Butterfield Road in Wheaton. The event includes 18 holes of golf, a German-style buffet and craft beers.

The first Hope and History Award will also be announced at the golf outing. The two organizations are looking to recognize an individual who has helped create opportunities in DuPage, through business and community work.

Nominees should currently work for a DuPage County company that is 45 years or older. To nominate someone, send a letter to the People's Resource Center by Friday or find the form at www.peoplesrc.org.
