La Grange Highlands School Board member recognized by state organization

LA GRANGE HIGHLANDS – La Grange Highlands District 106 School Board member Reta Strecker was recognized by the Illinois Association of School Boards Sept. 30 for attaining its LeaderShop Academy level of professional development. 

The academy is a curriculum of core and elective workshops for learning and networking that recognizes board members' efforts toward professional development. As board members work through the School Board LeaderShop curriculum, they earn and maintain membership in the academy.
