Darien Police Department warns of residential burglaries

DARIEN – The Darien Police Department has responded to four residential burglaries in August and five additional residential burglaries in September, according to a Darien police news release.

There is no pattern to locations in Darien.

Incidents in August took place in the 1900 block of 72nd Street, the 7100 block of Exner Road, the 1100 block of Foxtail Court and the 400 block of 70th Street. Incidents in September took place in the 3400 block of Gilbert Court, the 3300 block of Brewer Road, the 1600 block of Old Oaks Place, the 7700 block of Stratford Place and the 1300 block of Marco Court.

The incidents range in times from late morning to early afternoon, and late evening with a majority of the reports occurring after 4 p.m.
