Addison Trail’s boys golf team won the Conant regional at the Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club on Tuesday. AT shot a 321 with 78s from Zack Vaca and Matt Piotrowski, who tied for third. Dan Hartnett (81) and Joe Zucchero (84) also counted towards the Blazers’ winning team score.
The Broncos advanced out of the Class 2A St. Ignatius regional at Cog Hill on Tuesday by placing third. Montini’s 331 was four shots behind the winning hosts. Adam Keefe and Tommy Vivirito led the way with 80s. Jack Pastuovic (85) and Eddie Fitzgerald (86) also contributed to the team score.
The Rams were ninth at the York regional at Maple Meadows on Tuesday with a 347. Ben Cartwright was East’s top golfer with an 83.
The Warriors were eighth at the York regional at Maple Meadows on Tuesday with a 339. Mike Malito shot an 80 for Willowbrook’s top round of the day.
Grace Ludwig shot a 90 to make it out of the Glenbard East regional at Glendale Lakes Golf Club on Wednesday.
Anna Mahay also qualified for the sectional after shooting a 95 and winning a playoff to earn her spot at Monday’s sectional. The Rams placed ninth with a 418.
Gia Dela Cruz and Bridget McKnight both advanced from the Glenbard East regional at Glendale Lakes Golf Club on Wednesday.
Dela Cruz shot an 84 to take third place and McKnight shot a 94 to get in one shot ahead of the cut. The Blazers tied for seventh with a 415.
Amanda DiNella’s 89 advanced her out of the Glenbard East regional at Glendale Lakes Golf Club on Wednesday. The Warriors shot a 421 for 10th place.
The Rams beat district rival Glenbard South 2-1 on Saturday, but fell to Lake Park 3-2 on Tuesday.
Two days after tying Proviso West 1-1, the Broncos dispatched Aurora Central Catholic 4-0 on Tuesday.
The Blazers got one up on their district rivals by beating the Warriors 4-0 on Tuesday.
The Rams picked up their second DuPage Valley Conference win of the season by beating Naperville Central 25-18, 27-25 on Tuesday.
Natalie Lopez had 11 kills and Monica Loftus added eight in the Broncos’ 25-14, 25-13 win over Wheaton Academy on Monday.
Montini beat Walther Lutheran 25-10, 25-10 on Wednesday to improve to 21-2 on the season.
Kelsey Linnig had six assists, three digs, one kill and an ace to lead the Warriors to a 25-14, 25-15 win over Morton on Tuesday. The Warriors are 4-1 in the West Suburban Gold.
The Rams entered the DuPage Valley Conference tournament on a five-match winning streak after beating Lake Park 7-0 on Oct. 3, sweeping a quad meet against Nazareth, Huntley and West Chicago on Saturday and beating Wheaton Warrenville South 6-1 on Tuesday.
East finished 4-3 in the DVC.
