Conroy to hold October advisory committee meetings

Published: Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013 11:19 a.m. CDT

VILLA PARK – Throughout October, State Rep. Deb Conroy, D-Villa Park, will meet with community members through several citizen advisory committees to discuss current issues.

The groups will discuss economic development on Oct. 10, women's issues on Oct. 28 and housing issues on Oct. 29.

"I continue to host these citizen advisory committees in order to receive feedback from residents of the 46th District about specific issues," Conroy said. "As veto session approaches, I want to ensure that I remain accessible to constituents and am able to listen to their concerns and ideas for Illinois."

Each committee meeting will run from 6 to 7 p.m. at Conroy's district office, 28 S. Villa Ave in Villa Park.

For more information about the advisory committees or any other issue, contact Conroy's office at 630-415-3520 or email
