City Council clears restaurants to allow younger alcohol servers
WHEATON – Next time you order a craft beer or a fancy cocktail in Wheaton, your server could be a high school student.
This is because the Wheaton City Council passed an ordinance Monday allowing servers as young as 18 to deliver alcohol.
The amendment to lower the age requirement from 19 was passed unanimously. Council member Evelyn Pacino Sanguinetti was not in attendance.
