Driving under

the influence

• Jesus Maltos-Martinez, 22, 4900 Monticello Ave., Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence, DUI above the legal limit, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license, improper lane usage and a muffler violation at 2:19 a.m. Sept. 22 between North Neltnor Boulevard and Elmwood Avenue. Maltos-Martinez also had an in-state warrant at the time of the incident.

• Jennie Lucas, 52, 418 Oak St., Aurora, was charged with driving under the influence, DUI above the legal limit, illegal transportation of alcoholic liquor, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked driver’s license and improper lane usage at 9:10 p.m. Sept. 26 between Neltnor Boulevard and Diversey Parkway.

Burglary

• A radio cover and Leatherman multi-tool kit were taken from an unlocked vehicle at 12:30 a.m. Sept. 22 in the 2800 block of Overbeck Lane.

• An incident of burglary of motor vehicle parts and accessories was reported at 11:25 p.m. Sept. 25 in the 1200 block of West Roosevelt Road.

• A black wallet containing a Mexican driver’s license, a Mexican voter’s card and a Chase debit card was taken from an unlocked vehicle between Sept. 25 and 8:30 p.m. Sept. 26 in the 200 block of North Neltnor Boulevard.

Theft

• Two people took nine refrigerator water filters from a store between Sept. 18 and 6:17 p.m. Sept. 22 in the 200 block of West North Avenue.

• An Android tablet purchased through ebay between July 25 and 2 p.m. Sept. 23 was reported unaccounted for in the 600 block of West Forest Avenue.

• A Bobcat Breaker was reported missing from a construction site between Sept. 22 and 2:30 p.m. Sept. 23 at North Avenue and Powis Road.

• A Stihl hedge trimmer was taken from a trailer left in a lot between Sept. 20 and 7 p.m. Sept. 23 in the 100 block of West York Avenue.

• A co-worker was accused of taking a hammer drill from someone’s tool box between Sept. 18 and 5 a.m. Sept. 24 in the 1000 block of Carolina Drive.

• Sewer grates were reported missing at 7:04 a.m. Sept. 24 in the 200 block of West North Avenue.

• An armored car driver reported a missing firearm at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 24 in the 300 block of South Neltnor Boulevard.

• Sewer grates were reported missing at 5 a.m. Sept. 26 in the 1200 block of Atlantic Drive.

• Three copper molds, valued at $5,000 each, were taken from a cart between Sept. 22 and 9 p.m. Sept. 26 in the 1200 block of Nuclear Drive.

• An estimated $1,100 was reported stolen from someone’s shirt pocket between Sept. 27 and 9:53 a.m. Sept. 28 in the 300 block of Long Oak Drive.

Assault and battery

Heriberto Robles, 27, 1210 King Circle, was charged with aggravated assault at 3:10 a.m. Sept. 27 in the 1200 block of Kings Circle.

Criminal damage

to property

• Scratches on the back driver’s side door of a vehicle were reported at 6:30 a.m. Sept. 23 in the 1200 block of Kings Court.

• An entrance door was damaged at noon Sept. 23 in the 800 block of Joliet Street.

• A scratch stretching from the front of the driver’s side door to the rear of the passenger side door was reported between Sept. 23 and 6:30 p.m. Sept. 24 in the 300 block of Joliet Street.

• Damage to a garage door was reported at noon Sept. 25 in the 900 block of Ainsley Drive.

Someone attempted to remove a GPS from a 2013 Ford F-150 between Sept. 10 and 8 a.m. Sept. 25 in the 300 block of East Roosevelt Road.

• Graffiti was reported on a sidewalk at 8:43 a.m. Sept. 25 at Joliet and Pomeroy streets.

• Graffiti was found on the east side of a garage wall between Sept. 23 and 6 p.m. Sept. 25 in the 200 block of Joliet Street.

• Graffiti was found on a shed between Sept. 24 and 8 p.m. Sept. 25 in the 200 block of Joliet Street.

• Graffiti was found on a fence between Sept. 24 and 8 p.m. Sept. 25 in the 200 block of Allen Street.

• Graffiti was found on a garage between Sept. 24 and 8 p.m. Sept. 25 in the 200 block of Allen Street.

• Graffiti was found on a garage between Sept. 24 and 8 p.m. Sept. 26 in the 100 block of East Geneva Street.

• Graffiti was found in the 300 block of Allen Avenue between Sept. 26 and 9 p.m. Sept. 27.

Criminal trespass

to property

Kristen Thomas, 20, 115 S. Whisperhill Drive, Naperville, Kevin Shannon, 19, 460 Esselen Court, Carol Stream and Brandon McQueen, 20, 5862 E. Beverly Circle, Hanover Park, were all charged with one count of criminal trespass to real property at 12:01 a.m. Sept. 28 in the 300 block of West Grandlake Boulevard.

Drunkenness

Joshua Winquist, 25, 434 Arbor Ave., was charged with being an intoxicated subject at 12:55 a.m. Sept. 28 at Fremont and Washington streets.

Traffic reports

Rey Hernandez, 19, 525 E. Blair St., was charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked driver’s license and an expired license plate sticker violation at 8:47 p.m. Sept. 27 at South Neltnor Boulevard and East Stimmel Street.

Found items

An Acer 7 tablet was found and turned in to police at 2:47 p.m. Sept. 25 at Prince Crossing Road and Geneva Street.

• A sex offender was registered at 1:32 p.m. Sept. 25 at the West Chicago Police Department, 325 Spencer St.

• A dog bite was reported at 7:03 p.m. Sept. 27 in the 1200 block of South Oak Drive.
