Falcon 5K to benefit the Wheaton North Booster Club

Residents are invited to run to fundraise for Wheaton North High School at the Falcon 5K Run/Walk on Oct. 20, according to a news release from Community Unit School District 200.

The event is hosted by the Wheaton North Booster Club, which helps support clubs, scholarships, athletics and school events.

The race begins at 8 a.m. at Wheaton North High School. All funds raised by the 5K will go to the booster club.

Online registration is available until Oct. 19, and is $25. Race day registration, which opens at 7 a.m., is $30. Those who register before Oct. 10 will be guaranteed a 5K t-shirt, according to the release. Pre-race packet pick-up occurs from 12 to 2 p.m. Oct. 19 at Dick Pond, 26W515 St. Charles Road, Carol Stream.
