Training center to host open house for prospective sheet metal apprentices

CAROL STREAM – Carol Stream's Joint Apprentice Training Center for the sheet metal industry will host an open house from noon to 5 p.m. Oct. 14 at 205 Alexandra Way, according to a news release from the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers.

The event will showcase the training, skills and knowledge that come with being part of the industry. Prospective apprentices can tour the facility, speak with instructors and learn about the field and its training programs and post-graduate opportunities.
