Published: Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013 11:17 a.m. CDT

CAROL STREAM – Glenbard North High School is currently in the midst of raising awareness to fight bullying.

In recognition of World Day of Bullying Prevention, Glenbard North SADD/SFS is selling blue T-shirts that say “Hurting others doesn't make you hurt less” and asking students and staff to wear them Oct. 7, according to a news release from Glenbard Township High School District 87.

Students will also be asked to sign a blue link to show their commitment to ending bullying. The links will be used to make a chain to hang in Glenbard North's lobby.

Additionally, the school is giving out blue wristbands that read “Band Against Bullying” for students to wear throughout October.
