Stickney-Forest View library to get a little scary

STICKNEY – The Stickney-Forest View Public Library is going all out for Halloween.

Get ready to be scared – real scared.

Renowned Chicago ghost expert and author Ursula Bielski will share stories of Chicago’s supernatural side at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 24, at the library, 6800 W. 43rd St., Stickney.

Bielski is the author of “Chicago Haunts: Ghostlore of the Windy City,” and “Creepy Chicago: A Ghosthunter’s Tales of the City’s Scariest Sites.”

On Oct. 30, the library will host a Halloween Party for children ages 9 and under at 5:30 p.m.

Celebrate Halloween with stories, games and treats. Costumes are encouraged.
