WHEATON – Wheaton's newest piece of public art will be formally introduced to the city's residents this weekend, according to a city news release.

A dedication ceremony will be held for "Pearls of the Universe," a 70-foot mural painted on the side of Essencia Yoga, from 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 6 at 1026 E. College Ave. Since July, artist R.J. Ogren has been working on the mural, which celebrates Wheaton's diversity.

Residents who attend will have a chance to sign their names or initials onto the mural.
