RIVERSIDE – Over the weekend, former Riverside Brookfield basketball star Miki Ljuboja committed to play at Brown University next year.
Ljuboja also had offers from Yale, Dartmouth, Holy Cross, Hartford, Marist and Chicago State.
After graduating from RB in 2013, Ljuboja chose to go to prep school instead of going straight to a four-year college. Since he skipped a grade earlier in school he was a year younger than his classmates at RB and wanted to get back on the normal track by spending a year at Phillips Exeter in New Hampshire.
Last season Ljuboja averaged 18.1 points per game, nine rebounds and 1.8 blocks.
The Bears went 13-15 last year and last made the NCAA Tournament in 1986.
