IC volleyball to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

ELMHURST – IC Catholic Prep volleyball program will host a "Pack the Stands With Purple" event to benefit cystic fibrosis research and care programs.

Attendees are encouraged to wear purple to the games to show support. IC volleyball players will also sport special purple game jerseys.

In addition to the live sports games, fans can participate in a silent auction, split-the-pot raffle and kids' "drop your change" raffle. ICCP vs. CF wristbands will be sold for $3 each or two for $5. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

The Knights will play Aurora Central Catholic in an SCC Blue conference matchup in the IC gym, 130 Arthur St. Freshmen will play at 4:30 p.m., sophomores at 5:30 p.m. and the at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
