Hinsdale police to participate in 'National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day'
HINSDALE – The Hinsdale Police Department is participating with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) on its seventh "National Prescription Drug Take- Back Day."
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 26, the Hinsdale Police Department will collect expired, unused, unwanted prescription drugs and over-the-counter drugs for destruction.
The prescription drug take back program is free and will be anonymous for all who participate. Participants may dispose of medication in its original container, but should remove any identifying information from the prescription label or by removing the medication from its original container and disposing of it directly in the disposal box.
