Woodridge's Amnesty Day planned for Oct. 7-11

WOODRIDGE – This year's Amnesty Day will begin Monday through Oct. 11.

Amnesty Day allows Woodridge residents to dispose of unlimited amounts of furniture, carpeting, bulky items and more. Residents must bundle, bag or prepare for the garbage pick-up the same as any other collection day.

Garbage stickers are only required for the first five items. Additional items will be picked up without stickers. Amnesty day does not include any electronics, building materials, tires, railroad ties, hazardous waste or yardwaste.
