Churchill teacher receives school supplies in OfficeMax program

GLEN ELLYN – Dawn Payne, a teacher at Churchill School in Glen Ellyn, looks into a box of supplies awarded to her by OfficeMax on Tuesday, Oct. 1. Payne was one of 1,000 teachers nationwide nominated to receive $1,000 worth of classroom supplies as part of the seventh annual "A Day Made Better" advocacy program, the intention of which is to erase teacher-funded classrooms.
