GLEN ELLYN – More than 40 superintendents from across the country will visit two Glen Ellyn School District 41 elementary schools Oct. 4 to learn more about Project-Based Learning (PBL).

District 41 has been identified as a leader in PBL, prompting the visits to Abraham Lincoln and Benjamin Franklin elementary schools, which will allow the superintendents to see PBL in action.

The tour will be sponsored by EdLeader21, a professional organization for educational leaders.

Many District 41 teachers have participated in volunteer training for PBL during the last two summers in order to learn how to use real-world projects to teach.
